  1. I haven't had your particular problem. I had to have a virus removed a couple of months ago. I had been using an online shooting game website and was told that it was probably the avenue that allowed the virus to get into my system. Even though I have an anti-virus program, the techie said that the hackers are making viruses faster than they can identify and prevent.
  2. nmt2f, when you get your copy, we'll get a room at the nursing home and read it together. Maybe we'll still be kicking when it arrives.
  3. Got mine today. Fantastic, especially the section on rigs. Thanks to all who contributed to this issue.
  4. Snail mail???? Wonder how they got that name.
  5. Speaking from experience, the poison ivy story is classic. However, not a pleasant thing to deal with. Here's my story: I belong to Trout Unlimited. Our local chapter works with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, sponsoring a kid's fishing derby. It is held at a city park that has several resident ducks. One kid cast his line out, hoping to catch one of the tagged fish. Instead, his line sailed over the back of a mallard drake who had just taken off. He was waving the rod like he was conducting a symphony orchestra while the duck was flying around, trying to shake off the line. The line eventually slipped off the duck's back and everything went back to normal.
  6. I'll give it a try. Worked. Thanks.
  7. I have tried all different ways except sacrificing a unblemished lamb. Still won't paste the text in the quote box.
  8. I got your PM and tried clicking on the Quote buton at the lower right. Tried clicking on the Quote icon on the toolbar. I can highlight the test and copy (I hope) but can't get it to post. Any other suggestions? Reply at your convenience.
  9. barbelfloat, should I change my avatar photo? After all, it is a nice fish.
  10. I tried the one for Andy and got a message, "You don't have permission........."
  11. baitbucket, good idea. I have read that anyone catching the record largemouth bass will benefit to the tune of over $1 million in endorsements, etc.
  12. Raffles are a good way to raise money for an organization but here in TN that is almost impossible. Many gun clubs and fishing clubs used to get a good amount from raffles. Now, the state of TN requires a year's advance notice of the raffle PLUS you are required to purchase a permit for $500. Needless to say, raffles are few and far between now. I have a surefire one- jacks or better to open.
  13. Willem, got it! Thanks. I figured it was something simple- like me and computers. FWIW, I still have my slide rule from college.
  14. I'll try anything.......once.
  15. I might be overlooking something. My signature had all the info in a line instead of a column as others. How can I change that? Thanks. Edit: I went back to see if I could figure it out. I noticed the tool bar is light colored and won't let me use the Align Left icon or other icons.
  16. Can't do it as my computer isn't set up for html. Have a home version of MS 7.
  17. FWIW, I made purchases for the FFF from K-1 and Resistance back in December, 2012.
  18. My credit card company called and said someone tried to use it for a purchase in NYC but it was turned down. They cancelled the card and are sending new cards. Someone tried to get a card in my father's name and was turned down. Dad died in 2002. FWIW, I had purchased some things from some of the CAG vendors for the FFF. Don't know if there is any connection.
  19. Welcome! You will like the rod. I was fortunate to win the first rod and it is very nice. Looking forward to using it this year.
  20. They will spend it in the most effective and efficient way possible.
  21. My wife is happy! I can see a guy standing on the corner with a cardboard sign- Will work for boilies!
  22. Thanks. There are four bugs crawling around under your email address.
  23. I am embarassed to mention this. How can I access the online edition of the NACA magazine? I recall looking at it a while back but got caught up in other things. Your help is appreciated.
