The rain has stopped and USGS websites show the river will drain quickly. I'm going to personally check the river at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning and will post a decision by 9:00 a.m.
Another option would be to have a low cost, informal tournament ($10) at Kewanee (Johnson-Sauk Trail State Park) on Saturday and hold the Joliet event on Sunday. Too much? Any takers?
I'm in for both...

Thanks so much for welcoming me to the group, guys. Had a great time even though Peg 01 got fished out in the AM by Frank's 69+ lbs, lesson learned, don't follow Frank!
I still got some of your leftovers. Cory, thanks for not embarrassing me too much on Peg 20 and I told you Jim R, those boys would be waiting for you at lonely Peg 17, and I was right Look forward to seeing you guys and meeting more of you on Nov. 2. -

, I can't believe I hadn't fished this spot until last week. Heading tomorrow to give PEG 1 a workout and then the parking lot PEG in the afternoon. Going solo, unless Bohmann can come out. Cory and I both do our 40's in 4 days which opens up Friday for FISHING! Come join me or us if you'd like...
