Wild!! The amount of ice and snow in the pictures makes for some terrific backdrops. Nice Job! Really nice. The fish aint that bad either. lol

Looks like the worst of both worlds... ;-)
I agree. I dont get it.....

Beautiful fish. Really nice.

Super fish for January!! Congrats

What I meant to say was, Its a shame that your events are ill-received due to the fact that they are not catch and kill. Here in the northeast we have our critics but not to that level. Thx

Good Report John! Very interesting. The thought of a catch and release event not getting permission and not receiving much interest is very eye opening to me. Although I was fully aware of the issue of bow fishing, I was not fully aware or how deep the problems were/are in your area of the country. Im glad you are involved and on our side. Keep up the good work. And good luck.

Brian W. has a great video about his version of the Miele Bomb. He uses an old vintage meat grinder to process the maize and then uses that for the bomb. It looks like a good idea, although I have not tried it yet.

I would suspect that by the number of great fish entered last month, i will not be the only one who will remember the great fishing and great weather we had in December of 2014. Especially Christmas week. Thanks to all involved! ( Dean and Dave )

"What a Difference a Year makes"
Last year, January 2014, I was coming off my first full season of carp fishing. Still quite the amature, I decided to fish the FFF. I had some success, so now that " Ive turned PRO" I though Id try it again. ha ha
Last year, I showed up with 1 can of corn. This year I had no less than 6 hook baits in various jars and bottles.
Last year, I fished with two old Bass rod and reel set ups. This year I carried 3 new BR reels and 12 ft rods down to my spot.
Last year, I baited the hooks and casted. This year I spent 10 minutes prebaiting and prepping.
Last year, I awoke at 9:00AM and took my time getting to my spot. This year I arrived at first light worried that "someone was going to take my spot" ( Highly unlikely)
Last year, I caught 4 carp. This year........ Lets just say It wasnt like last year..... But I really did have a Great Time.

Bob, After that impressive, solo, overnight session during the FFF, I am quite sure no one will ever question your dedication to carp fishing and CAG. Im sure the coming year will bring you many rewards.

Thanks Everybody! It really was a special day. Any parent of older children can tell you that spending time with them ( grown up kids) can sometimes be easier said than done. Everybody is so busy these days, its hard to find the time. But last weekend everything seemed to fall into place. Even the fish did their part.
Happy New Year to All.

Brian, There is no denying it. When i first started carp fishing, I think i watched All of your videos in one week. Very informative and easy to watch. ( not loud and in your face stuff). Great Job. I really appreciate how you always quickly respond to any questions I ask you. Thanks Keep up the good work.

The distance tests results should be very "interesting". Looking forward to that. Thanks
