you guys make nice video , I would love to get out to DH........

- Hey guys, were you at the big Allison landing? i'm glad you guys caught some buffs but its sad. Lake Wylie used to be awesome, used to be. There have been so many big buffs taken from there and doomed into a miserable life in a paylake........Those beautiful fish just are not meant to be in a small cramped dirty water environment .
- Super nice video

I am going to make this one , Looking foward to it.

sadly here in SC , the only records that are kept for Carp and Gar are for those killed by bow fishing, the only ruff fish record SC recognizes for being caught on rod and reel is for Bowfin. I guess thats because the world record Bowfin was caught here in SC.....

Hello,
My name is Todd Davis and I live in Chesnee SC, I used to be the CAG SC chairperson back in the 90's and even though I haven't posted on the forums in a while I have still been carp fishing under the radar so to speak.
I am a steal rule die maker for a large printing and packaging company in Spartanburg. I am 48 and have been carp fishing since I was a kid.
I look forward to fishing again with Evan and anybody else hear who fishes in the southeast.

Congrats Paul , nice report. I wish you could come to South Carolina and teach people around here to pick their trash up.
It makes me sick to find a nice spot( except for the trash) and pick it all up only to return to find beer cans and paper and all sorts of other stuff, and dirty diapers I mean what the heck, but any way thanks for careing enough to pick up.
and another congrats on some very nice fish.
Todd
Paul - what a huge difference a day makes Thanks so much for making a trash heap into a nice looking swimSpirit like yours will finally win the day for us and give Carpers the good name they rightly deserve. Nice fish - and, big congrats on the mirror. They are very special

Right after Tony caught the 88 back in November 1993, I went up to his lake in Blacksburg to see him and to see the mount of the fish I heard was hanging on the wall. I waited until he got his program going for the evening and I introduced myself and I congratulated him on his awesome fish. I told him I fished for wild fish and I had never caught a buffalo. I asked him where he caught the 88 and he looked me square in the eye and said " In the water " and he turned and walked off. well I left his placed not knowing what to think of this. Well I kept going back a couple of times a year to talk to him, he told me a lot of stuff but I never really knew what was fact and what was misinformation.
The last few times I went to see him I told him that if he would take me fishing for buffalo I would pay him, he said he would but never did.
I have not talked to him since he sold the Blacksburg Lake.
I guess after he caught that fish every Tom , Dick And Harry was bugging him about how and where he caught it so I guess I can't judge him on his comments and I don't think any less of him for it. It is still an Awesome fish and I would still shake his hand and say congrats If I ever talk to him again.

Hey guys,
I went down to Georgia to meet the ole'Captain and his firends and maybe net some fish for them. I left from there with a sore arm and three new friends, I have to say these are top notch guys and I recommend that any of you have the time to go down to ole GA you need to meet these guys.
I had a great time fishing with Horace , Pete and Tim.
The fish were kind of small but man they were strong, they were real fighters.
Horace and Pete, have a safe drive down to Texas. I hope you guys get into some of those Texas giants.

Hi Andrew,
that was an awesome video.....What predator fish do you have in that lake, seems like that there may be a shortage of the predatory fish and do most of them not feed on the gobies?
As far as I know we do not have those in the lakes I fish in SC, At least I have never heard of them around here.
If you get more videos please post them,
Todd
