My name is Michael, though everyone calls me Mike.  I've been an avid carper for over 25 years.  I grew up on the pay lakes and rivers of North Carolina.  I moved too the great state of Texas in 2008.  I'm always in the search of new places to go and catch a few.  Not too much competition here in Texas, but would like too see more people get interested in the sport of such a great fish.
