Mid-Columbia Report

Despite the wind and high water, I landed a couple of 8lb fish. Saw a bigger feeder but couldn't get to him through the blackberries. Didn't see any grass carp. Wind out on the river was around 16, so I was limited to sheltered spots.


Note the pink and wine worm with bead. This is what the Yakima trout wanted early this spring and it seems to work for carp as well.

Nice! I made it out, but didn't get to where you were. River was ugly today...couldn't see much. We caught some nice fish, i'll get some pictures and a report up later tonight.

Glad you got some carp!
