BVILLE LEADER BOARD

Recommended Posts

I just got off the phone with Mr Kirkman, who - along with partner Chad Edwards, are in peg 30 - in the Marina. As of then, they were fish less - although the teams either side have had one fish apiece (AF Bob to their RHS) It was 35 degrees this AM at first light, but has warmed up a lot. Water level is apparently up quite a ways, and they will have to wade to land fish over the submerged stone wall in front of them. If the fish won't co'operate -- Jim has a couple of bottles of 'pacifier' -- in Tito's Vodka :)

Just as I expected -- Jim's attitude is great -- "We re out fishing -- what could be better? If we catch fish -- that will be an added bonus!!"

Good luck guys -- and everyone else out there!!

Cheers

Brid.

PS - I'll be talking to Jim throughout the comp -- and will let all know of any good news from them.

Well if the biggest is still at 26, then I got a little something something in a sack here. Sadly, still slow numbers wise. An atypical year for Bville I believe.

I thought maybe another was caught but no update yet.

Well as soon as a marshal arrives there is a new big one for now. I have sacked one that is roughly 28 6 but we set our scales light, so could bust 29.

Mine went 29lbs 1oz, another fish from elsewhere was 30lbs 12oz.

Torrential rains now, but we are still trying to do what we can.

Good morning everyone. Still extremely tough conditions. We had to get hit with 5 to 6 inches of rain last night. We managed to scrape out a few last night and this morning. Sitting at 148 give or take. It's not looking any more promising today so all we can do is keep our heads down and grind.

I admire your persistence, all.

Hope you find some fish and the weather/river conditions improve...

Interesting 11:16 update:

Bramleys in peg 3 now within 2Lbs of Eldridge/Syler in peg 6.

Everyone else 130+ lbs back

Wondering if all weights on board are current?

Last 3 years it has taken over 2000 pounds to win it, not full potential this year. Tough fishing compared to usual. Years past challenge is pacing yourself and landing numbers, this year shoals seem to not be moving as much for some areas.
