Magdalena.

The boilie is not considered bait down in the South where I'm from. ;) They are pickups. I wasnt talking about Franks pickup m8. :)

Thank you, so much, for the kind words and congratulatory comments.

I'm a believer in Tom Brooks' contention that, in big fish contests, luck weighs heavily (no pun intended) on the final outcome, so I am very fortunate to have captured that fish, especially on a day when 5 of us caught only 8 recordable fish. I still think that bigger fish will come out of that venue during the winter league.

I'm not much about keeping secrets, so Magda was absolutely right that the hookbait/pick-up was a 16mm World Classic Baits anise pop-up boilie delivered by Ernest K. just that morning. The method mix was Tom Brook's oat pack with a little variation as used/suggested by Joe (Prefessa) and Mike O. (CARPBOWL).

Thanks, again, for the posts, and thanks to Ernest and Magdalena for hosting the WCL.--Frank

So you abandoned the "grits" already! We all know how productive they've been. :)

Frank you are specialist for some amazing results :)

Frank's 34 lbs 12 oz is the biggest carp caught in Winter Carp League history :D

Right after I posted Frank's picture of Big Fish on Facebook Page another record was broken.

Our MIdwest Winter Carp League Facebook Page had 960 visitors in one day !!!!!
