The Flies of the First CAG Fly Swap

Recommended Posts

Guest Tommy Robinson

Never got into fly fishing but those are some nice looking 'ties. Where are the cicada flies and mulberry flies? It's the year for the locust and they love 'em.

From catchandrelease:

Fryed Crustaceans

I tied this one up to emulate a minnow fry (the crappies love it) but found it was a perfect match for when the carp were picking small scuds/bugs/etc off the bottoms of the weed mats in summer.

I call that the "drowned worm" After some rain the rivers get a hatch of these. Worms turn pale when they drown
