Ok Folks,

We've narrowed the votes down using the votes cast for the Member with the best fish.

Now is your final vote. Picture with the most votes win!!!

Select the fish you wish to VOTE for by by clicking on the round little button on the LEFT of the picture, then click VOTE at the bottom.

YOU HAVE ONLY ONE VOTE !!!

Thanks!!

Willem,

Many thanks for picking up the work that Pat started, this was a awesome contest and contribution. It really opened my eyes to how many different strains there are of the species that we pursue.

This is real difficult to pick just one and I am not voting as I believe That everyone that contributed has a memory made that is priceless.

Congrats to all that caught such a treasure!!

Tight lines,

Andy

Where is the final vote for the non cag members? Where are the winners?

hmmm... kind of hard picking up where someone else left off...

I thought this was a beautiful carp contest only.

Was there a non-member category??

you have a double entry,#31 &32 are the same fish??

,#31 &32 21 & 22 ?

Yes I am aware that it's the same fish :D Kinda hard to miss. Reason BOTH are up is because the original vote called for what member's fish you vote.

So I took all the pictures from the 3 winners in each section and posted them up to vote.

If you can tell me which one of the two picture the voters liked best, I'll remove the other ;)

Excellent competition and I entered a pic of a beautiful carp we caught.

And I voted.

We didn't "make the finals" but that's not the point. There were more, what I felt, beautiful carp than what we entered.

The catch is about " the carp"...not the angler that caught the carp.

I'll be a non conformist and ask why the angler is included in pic of the carp that is to be graded?

Its about the fish...not the angler that may be a "known" angler or not in the organization.

This can tilt the contest based on human personality and member/non member familiarities vs the "really most beautiful carp".

This was a great pictorial of the carp entrants but I hope, in the future, things can become more objective of the "fish" and not the angler.

I sure did not vote for the angler and I will wager most did not either. We all have caught carp that we thought were beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This was something i had in mind when i voted, as some of the pics were of the best scene/composure etc and i really had to make sure it was the fish i was looking at.
