I just took the plunge and joined CAG. When I fished a while back with Willem, he was kind enough to give me some issues of your magazine. That did it! Great fish and a bunch of great folks around the globe. I'm looking forward to a new PB on my common.

Thanks to all for your welcoming remarks. Bill, the pursuit of a PB is a slippery slope to say the least. The 16-8 becomes a 20, becomes a 25, becomes a 30, ad infinitum, or however big the carp grow in your area. The Tennessee record common is 53 pounds. :Old: I'm looking forward to being a part of the CAG and have committed to the FFF at Kingston, TN.

The ATC is a bit out of my budget. Unless I can talk SWMBO into getting a part-time job.

I'm going to be looking at some places that spoon mentioned while I was at Kingston. They are close to the house and I have seen some big carp when the come into the shallow to spawn in the spring. Only thing, they are dry during the winter TVA draw-down.
