Making a link

I try to make a link and get a funky box with all kinds of stuff on it. I tried to fill it out but then can't cancel it or get anything when I click OK. It just freezes up and I have to hit the back arrow to get it off the screen. Any help is appreciated. I'm sure it is simple.

Skeet3t when you go to reply you can click this button above with the chain and that will be the insert link button. Simply put in the url you want to display

That is what I did and got nothing but get the screen freezing up. Will try again. Thanks!

Doesn't matter- I can't even cut so you can cut-and-paste the URL. Ever since I had a virus removed, the guy really screwed things up. Removed a full WORD program and replaced it with a limited version, plus added a limited version of Excel, which I didn't need as I have another spreadsheet program. I frequent another forum that is hosted by the same bunch and can't do anything there, either.

Still doesn't work. Getting nowhere fast. accordbw, thanks for the link (wish I could make one) and I did save it as a Favorite for future reference.
