OK everyone. for some reason I thought (didn't think) we would have 16 somewhat equal fish producing pegs on May 2nd.

After looking at the peg maps I realized we only have 14 somewhat equal fish producing pegs.

In the case of all 15 entrants show up on the 2nd I will pull 1 peg number from a hat which will contains 4 peg numbers, 3,4,5,6

and I will fish that peg for the event.

In the case that one or more entrants do not show I will be choosing from the same peg draw bag as all of you.

Sounds confusing, but a little punishment for me, for not paying attention.

I anyone think this is unfair to any of you in anyway please speak up.

Just trying to keep this as fair as possible.

Hey Larry,

I had scheduled my helper Scott to work the bait shop so I could fish the tournament. As it turns out he found himself a date for Prom that evening...so I'm going to give him the day off and work the shop so that means I'll be out which will give you one less and hopefully ease your peg problem. Sorry for the change, given the situation it will work out better this way. PM me your address, and I'll send you some prizes to give out.

Put me on the list for the fall one....

We are now all filled up for the 3rd Annual "5 Bridges" Carp Fishing Tournament.

Anglers from all around the Midwest will be attending, Chicago, Iowa, Indiana, Bloomington, Minnesota, Kankakee, and more.

Remember to let me know if you are bringing wife, girlfriend, netboy, friend, ect. So enough lunch is ordered.

Just to let everyone know Harrahs Casino in Joliet denied my asking for donations ( a few hats and/or t-shirts) for this event.

Just remember there are 2 casinos in Joliet, to stay the night or spend your $$$. You decide which one to go to!

Depending on your peg draw you might be able to walk to your peg if you stay at Harrahs hotel.

Worse case you might have to drive 1 mile just because of all the one way streets.

Yes it will be walking distance for your kids.

I have now started an alternate list for anglers wanting to fish on May 2nd. Just in case someone might drop out for any reason (things come up) I understand.

With temps in the upper 70,s and a slight chance of a sprinkle ( not Andy Sprinkle) for Saturday afternoon, looks like the weather will be in our favor. Just a reminder peg draw 6am sharp. And this is a Big 5 event, only your biggest 5 fish will be added for you final score (weight).

With no more rain this week the river will be at normal flow and perfect for fishing.

A lot better than the last time we fished Joliet.

A few other prizes are coming but one of them is Larry K. has graciously donated a $50 bill to who ever catches the biggest fish while using his powder keg dip which each of you will be receiving before the start of the event on Saturday morning. Which you must indicate on your score card with a letter "D" next to the weight of your fish.

Larry K. ROCKS!!!!!
