Jack
Hey guys! I just started getting into carp fishing and I am looking for some new spots in north carolina to fish. I know of paylakes of course but I have never fished in those. A week or so ago I caught a 14.5 common carp out of the haw river, and I am looking for some tips to be able to catch more of them when I go, but also during the day because they do not bite much then. I caught this fish around 7:00 to 7:30 with a panko, instant grits, R&W strawberry butternut juice, and cream corn pack bait with a hair rig with a fake piece of pop-up corn. Thanks for reading! Leave any tips or ideas you have for how to catch more and where I can go for that. - Jack
