64 here today but lakes are down to winter levels. Lots of places are mud flats. They won't start to fill until early May.

We've also had temps in the 50's and 60's here, and sunny.  Some nights the temp didn't go below freezing.  So, the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers have opened up, with some ice left in the bays.  A couple days ago they were out ice fishing in a bay on the Mohawk, and yesterday there was 50 ft. of open water from the shore to the ice.  The rivers are quite high with a lot of debris coming down, and fishing from shore in most swims is impossible right now.  This morning is back to reality with the temp in the 20's and a high of 40 predicted.  The coming week has the same forecast, but I doubt that anything will freeze up again.  It won't be long now!!
