I was rather lucky this spring and landed both my pb common (27lb) and pb mirror (30lb). Photo credit for the 30 goes to the local police department who showed up while I was standing knee deep in the water netting the fish.

I'm not sure about Haverhill, but I was in Lowell on Friday and below the falls under Mammoth Rd is nearly level with the river above. Also couldn't hold bottom with 5 oz of lead.
