Thanks for the welcome!  I'm now 47 years old and been carp fishing since I was 8 at local pay lakes in NC. By the middle 90's I was pretty much strictly a river buffalo and carp fisherman and its been non stop ever since.  I was experimenting with European style tackle back in the early 2000's and found out pretty quick what worked and what was hype.  I still to this day keep up with all the new concepts from across the pond and try things when they make sense.  But I always tell people the more simple you keep carp fishing the more and bigger fish you will catch!  Thanks again and I hope everyone catches there PB this year!
