I think the letter was very nice. And it is possible that it is his true feelings. But im sure that he wouldn't say negative things. Even if he had negative thoughts, for many different reasons. The smallest not being that he probably had something to do with selecting the venue. But since no one can really say how he felt its not very fair to say its spin either.

either way a great hook. Gammies are alot sharper then mustad. However i never have a problem with them. Despite what i have heard many people say about mustad being poorly manufactured.

i checked it def says 2/0, maybe i was mixing up the wrappers but im pretty sure. Yeah i double checked i have some 2/0 eagle claw hooks. I understand what steve is saying by looking at those. But the mustad 2/0 octopus are perfect size i think.

mustad 2/0 isn't very big at all. I don't understand the numbers with hooks. I think i have seen some 2/0 that are huge but not mustad. I don't understand at first i thought hook sizes were standard.

If you use can corn, you can cover the entire hook. It works fine for me with a bolt rig or freeline. If its feed corn that you boil its usually alot more hard. With that i use like 3 or 4 kernals. I also try and hook through the edge of the corn. To try and make the gap as big as possible. I usually use 2/0 mustad hooks. And i haven't used dough bait alot. However when i have i always cover the hook completly. I mean it breaks down, and dough shouldn't be so tough as to stop the hook point.

I use my right hand to hold the rod, and reel with my left. I don't think it matters that much either way, as long as your comfortable. And i am right handed.

I sent my membership app on July 10th or 11th. And i got the packet with the naca and the bait needle, etc. I Don't even think it was 2 weeks.

Yeah corn has worked very well for me. I have a small stream behind my home. With a very small amount of carp. It seems now that they only came around for Spawning. But i put alot of corn and they took to it very well. If you are able to sight fish a hair wont even be necessary. Otherwise i can't really say as of lately i have been using hair rigs, and they have not worked as well as normal hooks. However there are alot more people on here with much more experience then myself and they say hairs are the best way to go. I would trust their word more then mine.

I love night fishing it used to be when i had my best luck. But i have been having alot of luck in the morning too lately. I usually dont even take any kind of light. There is a street light kinda close to where i fish. All i need to feel is the jerk when there is a fish on the line. BIG CARPHUNA is it true about big carp and the day?

Quit crying and walk its good for you. get a flippin back pack for your bait, and carry your rods just remember keep your rod tips up and you will be fine.
