  3. I've qualified for a photo competition on the Urban Outdoors Adventure tv show's website. Of course my pic has a carp in it. The guy who runs the site said that anyone is welcome to vote for the winner and has encouraged the contestants to get more people in to vote. So if you want to help me win a camera (please  :D ) register and vote on the messageboard over there. Good messageboard anyways. The host of the show is an Englishman who moved to Canada and has started his own show where he focusses quite a bit on carp. Interesting to see carp get some good promotion up here in Canada.

98 wow i only fish with 15 of them lol.. time to find the ones laying in the weeds :D

  5. I joined for my love of carp fishing as well as the people who carp fish. The fact that they are willing to shamelessly fish for carp shows that they are open minded. I love how fishing oriented the forum is. Most forums I have been to were just a place for experienced fisherman to make small talk about what gear they have. The CAG forum is filled with people who are willing to give advice.

yours truly bill hodge made me join he took me out once and i was hooked..omg i was using krafty catcher tackle :D

  6. i am used to fishing with 6' rod and a reel with 8 lb test. i am going to try and figure out how to use the cane poles(not really sure what there called) with the elastics and see if it is better for carp. right now i mainly fish with a hair rig after paul (a member) told me about it,but any other info and techniques that could help me catch bigger carp would be appreciated. this site seems to be extremely helpful. thanks to anyone that could provide any info or tecniques

WELCOME ABOARD JAMES JOLIET CARPER HERE :D

  7. So I uploaded a few more on Google Video. Their upload procedure is a royal pain, but their media player works great.

Here is the magic link to find existing (and future) carp-related videos.

It seems to me that visualizing the video in double size is the best way (large enough to be impressive, small enough to avoid annoying pixelization). I'll build them in MPEG4 instead of WMV next time, this should improve a bit, notably in full screen mode.

full screen here worked great way to go with the fox plugs lol :D
