I think we are of the same thinking SIZE over numbers is what the sport is all about for trophy hunters-
Erie has monster sized fish but I am a beliveer in Big rivers or retired gravel pits -

Can I get the skinny on buying a set of bite alarms ? I see the $25 sets on ebay and it seems like features are all close to being the same. My whole worrie is ANYTHING touching my line when a hawg runs line off at breakneck speed. I have used a piece of rubber skirt tied to my line as a strike indicator because the red line is tough to see for people who are going blind!

When I worked at Fishermens Warehouse in Columbus this giant grassy came to scale for Fish Ohio cert. at 45" 38lbs. and the cool part the brute was cought on a Zebco 33 10# mono & a cherry tomatoe half. She was 72 years old and cought the same fish a week before but lost him at the bank she said. Not Bad..

Hello I am new to this site and just wanted to show this giant Buff I cought in Ohio this summer. He was 49 1/2" long and my Berkley digital scale read 00.0 so I asume he was over the 50 mark. On #12 Big Game he took about 20 mins. to land and I had no net other than the ripped up cast net I found on the bank I used like a mat to unhook the brute. The cool thing about the story was that the night before I cought 15 (all small) and he was the only fish of the night he also had a Lesser brook Lampray on his side , 2 firsts for me on my birthday, As you can see the pics out of the disposable camera were over exposed so it don't count! I got a new digital cam out of this deal and he's still in that swim and I,m gonna catch him. This is a great site!
First 20 on my boilie mix
