Well, the question seems straight forward, so, here's my view.
If you don't plan on using a fish as table-fare, why kill it. C&R!
Now, there is a time to remove the fish from the water. That is when your only fishing hole is overstocked with way too many stunted small fish.
Now, I don't speak for anyone else on the forum, this is my opinion.

Will be at THE PIT all day. Fishing and smoking meat in the big smoker I have. Not to mention, drinking, eating and sledding if there is snow on the ground. I have lots of firewood, so I have no fear of being cold, just can't stop any forecasts of rain! Join me if you want.

Are you sure you aren't in Mexico?
Fish THAT BIG don't live north of the Mason-Dixon Line do they???
Now, I'm not telling you how to hold fish for a picture, but if you hold it like we do for carp, the picture looks better, IMHO.

I really love the pic that has the hook hanging out! Great shot. Great day of fishing.

Don't you just wish there was something more you could do to get rid of bowfishing altogether. Then after you got that issue taken care of, we could all turn our attention to slob fishermen who have no regard for others. It's too bad you found both issues in just one person!

Good location and a great fish!

Might be a commonized goldfish.

I know, I know! It's your fishing line from the last time you met up and the fish broke your line and is just now passing through the digestive tract. Nice recapture

Hello, all. I love adventure and find it in chasing carp in new water. I use euro tackle(poles, reels, rod pod but not bait). I like trying food stuffs out of my local grocer. Just ask Bill, I throw everything at my intended quarry. I'm really trying to find the next great bait! lol I do most of my fishing after midnight(that's when I get off work). So, if you're coming through Western Ohio let's go fishing. Tom
