I thought this to be a pretty wild picture. The pic isn't fly fishing but the carp is flying.

zonker,
I fish from the pontoon boat. I find the higher elevation much easier to find/spot actively feeding fish. The trolling motor in the front dials down to a slow crawl when I want it to and I become quite stealthy. I waded my first year.... this way is better and more comfortable.

Guys, yes I call it a mini pontoon. The pontoons are about 11 ft long and the deck is about 3 ft X 6 ft.... 2 pieces joined at center. I would say it takes me by myself about 20 minutes to get her sea worthy and I assemble and take apart on each trip. The rod you see is indeed a flyrod. I am somewhat obsessed with fly fishing for carp ... I can't seem to get enough. The carp I catch average 11 to 14 lbs and are a freakin ball to try and out smart and catch. I am fortunate to have a couple places that are within easy drive time with good numbers of fish.

I bought this on eBay about 4 yrs ago. I use it all the time and have very good success fishing out of it. Th deck is 3ft X 6 ft w/11ft pontoons and ideal for 1 person although I have fished 2 people many times.
