    Please Vote Daily to Help get a grant for this lake

    Would everyone please take the time to vote daily for this lake. We are trying to get a grant for it that requires a simple click each day to win the grant. The ultimate goal is to repair the spillway and return the lake to what it was which was an excellent fishery among other things.

    The committee to save Somerset Lake is trying to win a $25,000 grant to fund improvements there. Those of you who fished last year know the need. You can help by going to this link and voting each day from now until June 3 for the lake project. You can vote 10 times each day, and it only takes a minute.

    Somerset Lake Social Carp Fishing Event June 13th 2015

    This event is the Somerset Lake Social event for carp fishing. It is part of Lake Fest which is an event to raise awareness to raise money to replace the spillway. There will be food vendors all day along with many other activities other than carp fishing. The PA fish and boat commission will be there as well so I would like to get a lot of anglers there to support carp fishing.
