    ok, so lets start with 6/3 Tuesday. kevin is a new guy at work. he showed a intrest in fishing so i asked if hed come carp fishing the M pond, i cought two around 6ish and kevin cought his first carp on the bridge, on the side i never fish due to a big opstical fence thing from the farmers field.

    so the next day he asks me to go to the lake close to his house that is very close an on the way to work, but i never been there cus i could never find it! so he takes me and its so insanely close an carp infested!!! every one i could see was large! and a bunch of gold carp. so im exsited and tryed to just have the "probably wont catch anything, but know i know someplace new to learn" attatuide so after scooping it out for 20 mins we set up an prepared for are 2 hours of fishing befor work. i noticed all the fish where in the middle and farther then my arms throw of corn away, so i used my spod that ray gave me and learned alot on useing it. after 30 mins of being there my drag lets lose i get er in and its a 11 pound blackish common.

    so another 30 mins go buy and my drag rips off, takes me almost to the other side of the lake, i get it in and it dose a roll close to the bank an i relize it is a HUGH mirror carp ( i never cought one over 5 pounds !!!!! ) it was so big that i couldnt get it up the shallow water on the bank, so kevins friend craig who i only met that day, got right in after it with my net, he gets its head in the net and lefts it slightly out of the water an brings it to the bank as he brought it up my net started to rip!!!so we pick it up and get it on the bank and get the net off it an un hooked it and attempted to waigh it..... it maxed out my 20 pound scale with some of its body still on the ground!!!!!

    and there you have it, to be onest the picture dosent do him justice, he was freakin huge!

    thanks ray for the spod, and for the rig, both fish where cought on my 7 foot cherrywood, the rod with the rig.

    was a great week so far.

    if anyone wants to meet up with me on saterday, my an some of my friends an probley my girlfriend are gonna go to this place, and i like to invite anyone who can make it to come. i work 10 hours friday and plan on geting there around 10 11 and will stay till the fishing dies.

    ill get directions to the tackle shop close by in lebanon, and then the directions from there are simple.

    Time for a bigger net. :rolleyes:
