    ATC REGISTRATION RE-OPENED---2 spaces available

    We would like to appologize to everybody for this ,but because of some conflict of schedule all 3 teams from k-1 baits would not be able to make it to this year ATC ???? We would still try to make it up for the misunderstanding by making sure that we will have some awesome products or vouchers as awards for this year winners .

    Unfortunately at the ATC the most important is the peg draw. All the participants are good anglers and there are just a few pegs that really produce fish ... If you are unlucky first day pretty much you are out .... In a Big 4 or Big 5 tournament your chances are high all the way to the last minute .Quick example : me and bogdan about 3 years ago we blanked first day but we got 5 fish the second day with 4 -30s .we got the biggest the 39+ but it was impossible to get to the top with the guys leading with about 400 lb .... Just take this in consideration !!! I really think that it gives everybody a bigger chance and the peg is not as important ... Happy Holidays to everyone !!

    I don't want to get between you guys but i hope all this is a joke :) ?! The event is still on ?????? Me and my friends , we were really looking forward for this event !!!!!!! I don't understand why everybody have to comment something about this. The event is organized by mike and he has put his personal time in to this. If someone does not like something .....don't participate!!!!!! I still hope that mike is kidding and the event is not cancelled.( i have some bait prepared allready). Let's just have some fun ... I'll see everybody there saturday morning and happy thanksgiving to all !

    It is all for a good purpose :) it is very nice of you that somehow you are getting people envolved in donating money for cag,making this a fun way to do it ...... Good job .We are starting something new called EXTREME CARP FISHING . It is a web site and a carp fishing club /team ... Our goal is to promote carp fishing in usa. extreme carp fishing teams are :

    Mihai ciu & bogdan bucur and istvan gyori & alin hosu .

    Big news is that if any of us is winning 1st place at the cawc we are donating 500 $ to CAG , and we will pay the entrance fee

    for one team at the ATC.

    We will try to post updates and pictures ( if we have wireless 3g) on our facebook page extremecarpfishing. So follow us ... Good luck to the rest of competitors !!!

    Hi Frank !!! This is mihai aciu and bogdan bucur from chicago. We are on our way to CAWC. Bogdan is driving right now and i was reading on the form the proposition that you made :) we are willing to take that bet ( for cag) . If we finish in front of Broks/Jackson you donate 50 $ to cag and if we finish under ... Well we donate to cag 50 $ .

    So .....???

    Good diversion tactic, Tom. Keep your competition adversaries thinking that millet and corn are the ticket. :lol:

    I would still argue that, considering the experience of most of the anglers at this world-class event, luck of the peg draw will be a huge influence on the final outcome.

    However, I'm willing to take a few bets. How about making a few wagers through this CAG forum to generate a few more $$ for CAG? I'll wager $10 that the Brooks/Jackson team will place higher in the total weight standings than the team of your choice. The loser of the bet donates the amount to the CAG treasury.
