Well we went out to do a little fishing this morning and I was the first to hook in to this nice 24 lb 12 oz lump.

Then Edmen has to top that with this lumpier lump 36 lbs even, not only has Edmen out fished me 3-0 in Grassies this year but now he also has the heaviest fish.

You are right, I do not know exactly what happened.

I spend 8 hours a day working with 45 ladies of varying ages and I look forward to getting on this forum for some piece of mind. Instead I find that there is far more bit##ing going on here than at work. Think about it, that's SAD. A bunch of grown men acting worse than a bunch of girls. We have members going after members, members going after venders, and venders going after venders. When will it end.

So to stop the madness I will no longer be posting, I hope that you all have good day.

Well I got the paper today and to my surprise it was on the front page, I will download a link later or a photo of the paper.

No I do not really hate my son, in fact I am very proud of him and I love him dearly.

It all started this morning at 4:30am and on the road at 5:15am in order to make the hour and a half drive to Las Cruses, New Mexico. Thinking that it was going to be a stress free day by the bank turned in to a very eventful day. When we arrived at the bank we were the only ones there, noticing some porta-poties we thought our dreams have been answered. As we were setting up the rods we see two Game and Fish trucks pull up with tables and chairs in tow.

I asked out of curiosity why they were there, they answered “FREE FISHING DAY” my heart sank. With in the next couple of hours our HONEY HOLE turned in to a NIGHTMARE. Needless to say we put on our smiles and carried on. The alarms were going off like crazy, tangles not fish. Ever body was intrigued by our setup, pods and alarms.

When the alarm went off I was expecting to see someone tangled for the umpteenth time, but no fish on, and it was Edmen's rod . To our surprise it was a Grass Carp and a big one at that, it came in at 31 lbs and 4 oz (not the 31-1 as mentioned in Koi Blood) Edmens previous PB was 28 lbs from Town Lake in Austin. Everybody was amazed that a fish that size was in that pond and that a kid caught it, my kid .

Edmen will be in the local paper tomorrow I'll see if I can down lode it tomorrow.

Here are our latest conquests, a new PB common for me and two new PB's for my son Edmen.

The common came in at 33 lbs 14 oz

This beautiful Mirror Koi came in at 9 lbs 12 oz, this is his biggest mirror and his first Koi.

This is a picture of my NEW PB Mirror that I caught yesterday. She came in at 5 lbs even, a nice little fatty. She was the last of six that made it to the mat, lost another five and had four missed runs/hard taps.

Talk about sore we missed 3rd by less that 20 lbs, 1 stinking fish !!!!!! Oh well there's always next year. I hope that our odds will improve for next year.

But we still managed to take home Biggest Fish Honors .
