Isn't The Sun basically Englands equivelent to the National Enquirer?
If you have a friend that reads the sun DO NOT phone them up while theyre doing the ironing!!! if theyre not a friend !!!!!!!!!!!
Although ive got mixed feelings about the "over feed/ over commercialized" argument its still helluva fish!

Thats bad news, sorry to hear that.

Nice way to start
Wot thtey all said too

Pinch some bread flake around a worm so that it balances or sinks slow, maybe try and get it to rest at their depth on some weed as near to them as possible, also possible to make a bread crust balance by squashing the right amount of the flake on the underside of the crust. Again as others have said patience is key after they find it they may leave and come back a couple of times before they cant resist no more, i'm sure if you eventually get one out of there the satisfaction will be worth the wait

Nice work

Ive never logged it but the camo calculator tells me it starts at around 700 hrs and maybe around a 1000 if i get maybe 3 long weekends of continuous proper time a year, for the most part i only get w/ends as i work around 50 to 60 hrs a week. Be nice to swap the work time for fishing time and get paid the same Dream on buddy

Greg J,
Go with the flow. Feed the turtles road kill. Just toss a road kill carcus down away from your swim (weight it with a stone). No more turtles till the road kill is gone.

Reckon this is probably the best method failing this just keep your baits out of the water, should do the trick

This looks to me to be a channel cat! Almost 100% certain, I leave myself a little room for error!
But that pointy nose and exagerated overbite says channel to me, anal fin looks like a channels too but still can't see the front of it to be certain. But my moneys on channel bewteen a pick of channel or blue!
I'm no expert on these but i'd go with Possum on this.

Awsome looking fish

CarpDaddy!!
Fish with Rick and if there are 100 ticks in the vicinity then 101 of them will go for him instead of you.
I can wear shorts and sandals and remain tick-free while he is constantly brushing them off his whole body coveralls.

When i fish with Skunker he out-ticks me by about 20 to 1
On a more serious note, i'm allways paranoid about repellents as no matter how hard you try you cannot guarantee its not got near the bait by transfer, ie youve sprayed your clothes which you cant avoid touching and transfer it to all other items of tackle and it will get to bait. However i do carry some spray with me for when the ticks and mozzis insist on being number one priority .

Awsome report Sir Zoomie, it would be cool to collate on paper more info with regards to the Bass Guys understanding of carp.
Looked like a well run event, well done to all involved

Unless someone is stocking a paylake the first time, how come they seem to stock them regular, do the older fish get wise to all the usuall bait and new stock keeps them catchable or is there a high mortallity rate.
All the same at least they arn't laying around gasping air in boxes at a market somewhere.
