    You are my hero Cornbread and I will do what I can. Thank goodness we'er still in a Southern state. There are some of the best Carpers in the world in attendance this year and I'm just glad to be there.

    You can bring a plug, glug or hillbilly jug but when you leave the ATC you'll have a very sad mug! :P:P

    Just don't eat the plug cause we use the jug (after we take a glug) I might even bring a jug for all you muggs.

    Bob,Bob,Bob. The Plug is the design. The contents change to meet the venue. The only thing that remains the same is the nasty VooDoo spell from the root lady that Big Bird turned me on to. Billy "Coweta Carper" comes from two generations of Pay Lakers and can see thru buckets and can curve a cast in mid flight when he needs to fish around corners. He throws what he throws. I alone have the (dare I say the name) Plug of Perfection. We WILL have Georgia on our mind though.

    Who Hasnt Reserved Their Hotel Room Yet?

    Who hasn't reserved their hotel room at the Casulo Hotel yet? I just found out that they are saying they are already booked and don't have any rooms left and only 2 people have made their reservations? I am going to try and get this straightened out since we were given until the first week of march to make our reservations but it seems there was some miscommunication.

    Post up here who has reserved and who still plans on staying at the host hotel

    I tried to reserve a room for the 24-26 and there are no rooms available.Placed on hold for a LONG time for this info ta-boot. Are there any other motels that can be used in the near area?

    Some of the best parts of our trips always seem to go down in the ol memory banks and get to be played over again when your out somewere and something happens to trigger that memory. From now on every time I see anything about caskets I'll remember how Big Bird wanted to get in one to take a picture when Rick "Pine Box" showed up in that big ol casket truck.......and wanted US to get in with him. Aint happenin Bird!

    It was great to get back to the Pipes were I have BLANKED for two years.The spell has been broken (at least in one CATigory). Better than great to have our very own Big Bird back with us and young Trey handled the three amigos with out much trama. Of coarse he has'nt heard any of the stories. I can tell cause his ears are still attached to his head. The adventure continues.

    Just finished a visit with Big Bird at Douglas General. Mike is in a lot of pain. They have him doped up but it's not doing as well as I had hoped. He's a tough guy though and he's taking everything the pain and the hospital can dish out. They have him wired up lke a Christmas Tree. I don't know how long he may have to stay there and he says this is the worst he has ever had it and this is his third round. Mrs. Bird is with him and I'm close by if he needs anything. He's hanging in there and I'm sure he will pull thru this tough time with our prayers. My visits will be regular if not daily and I'm sure that as long as Bird can reach his phone he will up date. As I was leaving he told me this was no excuse to try to get his Four on the Floor trophy so at least he's thinking right. Shoot me a PM if anyone can think of anything else I may be able to add.

    Well I blanked. The sunrise was beautiful (the Ol Captain has the pictures.) To be honest I had a great time. I was with the Cpatain,Redcoat,Blackberry Holly,Big Bird,Chakram and myself.We had visitors and food and Bird told the Monkey and Midget stories. As a added treat it was the x-rated version. I have never heard anything like it before. I would have gone even knowing befor hand that I would blank. Cool Mom gave me the green light befor hand and I was happy to spend bank time with such a bunch of pro Carpers. I mean come on.... Big Bird and Redcoat and the Captain and Chak? Who would'nt want to go. I learned a lot. (don't get between Big Bird and the alarm when it goes off). I remembered Zoomie's challange about a drive-by on the Bird and was well stationed but it just didn't happen this time. I have the rest of the year though. IT'S GONNA HAPPEN BOO-BOO.

    Don't worry about us Florida Carpers Jerome. It looks like you will need all your energy just to get down to the dock! I still think you should "come see us" on this special occasion. You know there's always a spot on the bank for another ol Salt. We will be sure to let you know how we do in the Sunshine state! After all we have our own problems there. Sweat getting in your eyes when your hauling can be tough. Thats not including shooing the Knats out of the way. I hope we have enough Gatoraid..... and a bank littered with sunbathers is hard to get your gear around.

    All kidding aside, I hope you catch a stinkin snow monster up there. I would come visit but you just can't get there from here. I hope you Christmas was great and you have a cool FFF.
