Regarding time and donations............. I don't have a FINANCIAL INTEREST to gain from this forum.......

You may or may not agree with me ..............but..........I look at the ATC as the Christmas of Carp Fishing.
At Christmas time most people who have purchased from specific vendors during the year are given a bottle of wine or some other form of gift in appreciation for the money that has been spent with the said Company.
So lets look at it like this ..............The Tackle dealer is the vendor (Who wouldn't be in business if not for the Angler).........The Angler is the customer who has spent lavish amounts of his or her hard earned money over the year.
Therefore is this not the ideal time to say thank you to the few who have made your business survive...................
So pony up and add to a good cause...................and prove me wrong that you don't come on here due to financial interests!!!!!!...........

Of course it's good for the fish aswell............they love to be hauled out more than they already are.
You can't beat a good commercial fishery.............ask Karl........he also fished Woodlands..........famous for fish with no lips..........
But there again if it lines the pockets with $$$$$$$$ then it must be a good for FISHING!!!!!!!!
