I'm mike I live in Bucyrus (the Bratwurst capital) I've fished for carp since I was 14 when I took my brand new ultra light spinning rod out for the first time and landed a 19" carp from a local pond. I was only planning on catching some bluegills, but man was that carp a big surprise and a lot of fun. After that I spent a lot of time fishing the Sandusky River with an ultra light stalking carp. I joined CAG back in 2005 after meeting the group up at East Harbor.

Well said,I think all to often comments are put in print that would never be said when your sharing the bank with a fellow angler.

This forum and all the help it has given me to pursue carp has lead to my finding the the best thing about carp fishing and the one thing most of use could use,Friends. People That I look forward to seeing and enjoying the bank time with . Laughing eating and occasionally catching.
