  2. Huge congrats to Steve Braddy for a late charge in the March Big 4 race and the overall Big Fish contest! With just a little over a day remaining in our online contests, Steve captured and submitted a huge 31-9 and a magnificent 28-12 (pictured below) to take the lead in the March Big 4 contest with 112-0 and to vault to the lead in the Big Fish race! Outstanding work, Steve! :yourock: --Frank

Beautiful fish Steve ! Way to go ! One more day, we will see what happens tomorrow, Good Luck to all the participants. Ed

  3. Huge congrats to Andy Burnagiel for a tremendous 31-6! That puts Andy into the Big Fish lead and the February Big 4 lead!

I also went to the Chicago River yesterday but to the "ultra-secret," ultra-comfortable coffee house/canoe launch swim to take advantage of the effective windbreak it provides. It was a weird day. Bites were decent from 7 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. I was fortunate to catch 6 fish, including the pictured 17-0 for the leader-board. I probably lost as many to hookpulls and snags. For those who frequent that location, there seems to be a tough snag right in front of the white sign. From 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., the sun was bright and the wind was light, but the bite was over. Not a tap, but it was still a nice day to be out. It was also good to see Branko who stopped by.--Frank

    Updated leaderboard here!

Nice fish Andy and Frank ! I hope to get out soon. Ed
  4. I'm sorry to say that I'm not a proctologist, but I do hope you seek help for whatever problem you're having :P.

Wish you guys luck in Feb, I'm out of here and not back in the midwest until mid-March. Looking forward to seeing some nice pictures on the board.Frank, John and both Andy's already have nice fish on the board.

I'll post a few pics from FL, most likely with blue gloves on. While I didn't start the trend, I've noticed that we have several proctologists on the board.

Looks like the blue man carpers !

Adam, save some redfish for me. Ed

  5. I still have very limited use of my right arm, so I fished a spot that did not require casting and that had smaller carp. The 7-6 in the photo was my first of the day, month and year. Not a monster but it does give me 144 consecutive months of catching Chicago-area carp. Did get one more fish of about 10lbs but no photo and no weight.

I imagine my physical therapist will give me a stern lecture tomorrow.

Nice fish Paul, was it tough to do that tagging one-handed too ? ;) Ed
