  2. There are a lot of carp in there that is for sure, and with the recent discovery of zebra mussels there the more carp that lake has the better. I have had many sessions there and not take one single buff, i know they are there because the outing before last some pakistani guys were tearing them up. Although every one they caught went right on to a stringer even one that went about 30lbs, it was a group of about ten people and they left with well over 225lbs of buffs on the stringer. However i didnt see them catch any carp, which surprised me since thats all i have ever caught there and zero buffs.

  3. Went out to Lake Lavon here in texas yesterday with a buddy of mine for a little fishing. My friend is normally a bass fisherman but the more i take him carpin the more he wants to go carpin. Seems as though i am converting him over to the dark side, but hey he sure likes posing with the fish he catches!

  4. If you dont have a rolling table its going to take a while, like you said that mix is going to make a lot of boilies and rolling them by hand it going to be a pain. When i make boilies i use 1/4 cup semolina, soy flour and corn meal mixed with a half packet of kool-aid and stir in an egg, that usually makes enough for a 4 hours session and i have yet to run out during a session.

  5. Thanks for the reply guys, Brid im trying to create a line aligner effect and im worried about what size to get not being sure if i will be able to squeeze it over the eye of the hook. If the shrink tube i get is too small and im not over to get it over the eye it will be kind of a wasted buy. Now that i think about it clear does seem like the best color, and im guessing you have to use steam to shrink it?

  6. Im wanting to do some experimenting with shrink tube on the shank of the hook but i dont know what size to get or which color to get if it matters. Any one else use shrink tube that could shed some light on the subject?

  7. Thanks for the comments guys, iCarp the night bite has been way better than the day bite lately due to these hot texas summers, but as fall comes and the weather cools a bit i should have some more day time pics. The dogs name is "Yuki" means snow in japanese (my wife named her) and she puts up a pretty good fight on rod and reel lol.
