  1. Nice to see the two Delaware gentlemen fishing again at Hains Point. As the fall approaches and the weather shall cool off, we hope to have the pleasure of fishing with you more often.

Moon is a perseverant carper and will go at it again tomorrow, for sure to catch a biggie.

Here is a picture of the last fish of the day, reeled in by my friend Florin:

  2. Wow, some really nice guides on these rods....fuji titanium guides (if I read that right). Thanks for sharing this link :) .....I may pick up a couple when I can go carping again because I don't think my new car will fit standard carp rods.
Nice to see you back, Mike! Slick ride! Civic coup?

The guides are "Silicon Carbon Metal Ceramic" - real smooth - and the reel seat is Fuji. I have a couple of those rods from the "Alegra" collection, that seem to have been replaced by this new Khartago collection. Good rods.

  3. I bought "IPS Communities" version 2.0.3 and it works OK. The only bug I see so far is if I choose to see new content, then select a topic with multiple pages, it won't turn the page. I tap the "page" button, then the "2" or "3" button and nothing happens, it stays on page 1.

If I coose a topic from the home page, it will turn the page.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

  4. ...There are NO rods selling for under $150 (and more in some cases) that have blanks capable of sustained and repeated casting (or playing of lots of fish) of such heavy weights. If they don't break then the blank will soften up within a couple of seasons...
What do people here think about telescopics? I know they're regarded as kiddie toys, but I own a pair of these and I couldn't be happier with them. They are made by Balzer out of IM-12 carbon woven in a "diamond" pattern.
