  1. This is why I love to catch and release, to experience the joy of seeing one of your most beloved fish doing well. Today I recaught my fully scaled fan-tail ghost carp! She now weighed 8lb 0oz, last time she was 7lb 2oz, so it is good to see that she is doing fine!

  2. I would like to enter a mirror that is really special to me.

A lightly scaled 20lb 8oz mirror! This venue hasn't been fished for a couple years and was thought to have a die off. Austin and I fished the venue on Sunday for our very first time and caught well. At this lake the last documented mirror to weight over 20lbs was 4 years ago. Back in the day this spot was the best in Michigan and the lake has so much history from our other anglers here, including our CAG state record mirror carp at 31lb+.

  3. This is a special fish for me because it was my very first fish at Dale Hollow, plus it is a new PB mirror for me! This lovely fully scaled weighed 25lb 0oz! I caught her on a classic hair-rig with two pieces of flavored corn with a 10 mm pop up boilie. I am really happy that I caught this beauty!

  4. This mirror weighed 17lb 6oz and was caught in Tennessee during Austin's and my spring break on a 7 day long camping session there. This one was caught on a classic hair-rig with two pieces of flavored maize with a 10mm pop up. I was really happy with this one!

  5. Here is my first ever ghost carp and fan-tail, which happened to be combined into one fish. Which also happened to be a fully scaled mirror. I hooked the fully scaled fan-tail ghost carp when I was stalking a koi. When the rod first screamed off with the fully scaled fan-tail ghost carp, I didn't know what to do, but I eventually spooked the koi and picked up the screaming rod, and I am glad I did! It was a 7lb 2oz fully scaled fan-tail ghost carp. I caught her on April 12. I was using a classic hair-rig with a piece of maize and a fake piece of pop up corn.

The people in the picture are life guards from a near by gym that came down to see the fish, so I asked them to hold up the fins
