    It was hot and humid & cicadas where in full song with the shad jumping everywhere and the smell of a skunk in the air.

    I saw loads of bubbles close to my bank so out came the float rod and to save messing around i put a polaris stillwater float and poped open a tin of sweet corn and that was that 15 small carp to 3 lbs in about 3-4 hours.

    I saw some gar rolling in a spillway and have never caught 1 so i bought some minnows and off i went after this crazy looking fish

    Caught 6 of them in about 4 hours.
