It was a good day & a little cold in the morning but by noon was nice for a fall day.

Im gonna leave the euro kit at home this week and try oatmeal dough bait.It looks like a bit of skill is needed to hook a carp and a blast on a smaller spinner rod.

Maybe next time we might get in to the bigger fish.

It was a cold night with a northwind 37F and started catching a few channel cats.

Then nothing until morning,Carpenter called to see if i was still at the lake and then first run of the moring happened 18 lb but no pic as my camra battery life died!. But heres a pic of the tiger nut eating channel cat.

I'll think a little more bait in the water next time.

And top up after every fish.

[Cold front made it nice to be at the lake]

Had some cooler air come in kansas so i thought time to hit the lake.

I caught lots of small carp upto 10 lb to 15 lb's and this 26 lb 9 oz grasscarp on spam.Spam that i put in a pva bag with chick crumb. <_<
