    that's excellent with the draw you had. well done!

    two points..totally agree about fishing to the last. we had the big fish a couple of years ago 15 minutes from the end and lost an even bigger one with 5 to go!

    love your marquee! that despite the conditions is fising in style. you could of had a large party in there or even a small wedding!

    got to say i loved your whole outlook on fishing in your first post. that in itself is worty but then the tease......................................................then a pic like that head shot. fantastic! big congratulations on catching such a beautifully shaped big carp! i like the creamy bit under its mouth. a special and unique carp and a great write up. thanks for posting as i really enjoyed it.

    ha ha pot and kettle.

    firstly nice fish by the way from a non ATC swim.

    the reason i replied is because you include the initials ATC. you are so hung up on those three letters and everything that revolves round them that i suspect you don't even realise you are yet again dragging up the age old ATC story! that might not be correct though. you could still be stirring the pot just like you were just prior to the ATC.

    my recent post stated that if you came into my swim during the ATC, you would be told "to clear off old boy"( hardly life threatening, i just don't want you spoiling my happy ATC fishing vibes). duly logged by all that know you? really? i doubt it somehow. sounds like you have been stirring the pot with me being your context old boy! did you cut and paste me and forward to all your disciples or was it bankside?!!!

    this bits laughable!.... "maybe it's about time we saw you post anything positive"

    your kind of right here. the only negativity i bring to this forum currently revolves around you which is why you might think that. why? because even though you post some fish up, with your past and near present history, i still think your taking a swipe. if however you look back through my 1046 posts, i think you will only find around 20 or so that are negative. i make no apologies for hijacking your thread just as you did to mario pre atc. (why don't you look at that for a bit of positivity!)

    as you can see, i do have beef with you and will continue to do so all the time you come across as having a hidden agenda ie play the perfect reformed forum user while taking cheap disguised shots.

    no need for p.m's as you have already set the public trend. i will say this though and i know i said it before... i will stay off your threads from now on totally. not everybody is going to get along all the time in a big group but maybe we can see eye to eye in the future?

    in the mean time carry with your 'bash' ( good time party) on the lake full of trash, that is dying and seeing carp weights decrease.

    wasn't sure where to put this but seeing as it's video's, here is as good a place as any.

    i like korda products generally although a few of their employees need raining in when it comes to gobbing off in the uk mags.

    respect to mr fairbrass though. all he has achieved is through hard work and a love of fishing. website is great and am really pleased they have posted all their sky tv programmes up.

    enjoy just as long as you have plenty of time on your hands. there's stacks on there!

    i had one like that a while back. it's now in my mates pond but it started off silver with big scales and had two orange dots on it. yours shows similar characteristics with the aft scales showing a bit of pigment. when it got to about 1.5 lb's it started changing colour. it's now a fully scaled bright orange fish with the scales edged with black. a total beauty!

    question is...will yours change colour as well?

    also...i hope it grows this big as seen in carpworld mag.......

    i'm really pleased for you both on winning the atc. we did well one year and i know the buzz that the lake gives you when it's firing on all cylinders! oh and an extra well done for lugging your gear down to that point second day. hope to see you guys at a future atc.

    what a shame the dog people feel the need to kick off at you though. if only they spent as much effort cleaning up their dogs mess round there! humanity can be so inconsiderate sometimes. as for calling the old bill ( police) out. i would of suggested to the officer to track the number and warn them against wasting police time!

I've not heard conformation - however, Jim and I have fished Emma for the week leading up to the ATC for the last 3 years - and it's highly likely he will be keeping the tradition up? Although I am banned from the ATC, it's highly likely I will be fishing Emma with Jim - to keep tradition alive!! Anything I can help with -- you are very welcome."

    neither did i ? really ? that hasn't stopped you from telling everyone that is bored to death with it already that you are banned on no less than three occasions in this short thread.

    then we get "however, you know full well we are totally above that nonsense." and " a sad loss" that you can't fish. your not above any sad nonsense no matter how you try and dress it up as helping others.

    do yourself a favour, put your big wooden spoon away and realise most people can see through it all. what a shame you probably cant.

    i will fish the atc again and if you turn up in our swim, you will be told in no uncertain terms to clear off old boy.

    sadly i cannot afford the time or the money to attend this year. looking at the field though, i wouldn't come anyway. far too easy win to be had there. last time i caught two cormorants in two days which shows i know my bird food boilies from a fish meal boilie. i hope all have a wonderful time now there are some carp left out there for you all to catch. normally they would be in our sacks but...................oh i just woke up from sleep typing.

    p.s if anyone draws next to af bob please take some ear plugs. having fished next to this character before, hand grenades aren't out the question when the going gets tough but more importantly, he sings to the carp and believe me, his singing of ride sally ride is awful!
