the thing about barbless is, you really can't put slack in the line. see, with barbed hooks, you can put slack in the line and most of the time get away with it... but not very likely with barbless... so just be more careful... if you don't put slack in the line, you shouldn't have a problem, for the most part. ya can just break off or smash the barbs on the hooks ya have with needle nose pliers.

nice nice fish, congrats... now quit playing around with the small ones, and get one of those big ones that are in there

I see you're putting the reels to good use.
That's a nice looking lake, if only there were big fish in it.

Welcome aboard...
That's some beautiful water man, any nice fish out of there?
-
I don't know about that...
We all know Austin holds some huge buffalo, but along with that, there are other waters in TX that are recorded to exceed the 90 LB mark. But, Yes... Lake Wylie does has some nice Buffs, no doubt about that...

eh, no, i can say i caught it, but i don't consider it a true PB... as i only landed it... didn't bait up the rod or cast it... so don't think it's right to say it's my PB... but everyone has their opinion. it was still a nice fish regardless.

Duncan, is that you?
At first, I thought Zach is the one who took the picture of me asleep... but he said it was you... haha
It was a great session, nice meeting you... hope we get to do it again.
I got a bunch of insect bites on my arms and legs, and I don't even remember getting bit out there...
-
Dean,
You're right, it does drop off at the buoys. We walked out almost to the buoys to play the fish, about waist deep.
Yeah, it was probably the best session I ever had... can't wait to return.

Robert, once again congrats!
But, I have to ask, are you sucking your thumb in the sleeping pic?
Thanks man, it was a blast...
after i looked at that picture, it does look like i am, but i had my hand wrapped around the blanket closed to my face... no thumb in mouth lol
