    wow what a great weekend.....

    Well got the car packed up and ready to head out for the 4th session of the wcc of IN & christine's b-day so headed out stopped by westside bait&tackle and jimmy got a load of new goodies in so waent thorugh that spending & spending. Darn it was like a kid in a candy store,lol bought a few things I have been wanting and got a few more goodies and figured I'd better get going be4 I spent lots & lots lo so i cashed out meet 2 other new carpers that i recrutied there and off went.we got there around 5pm or so got our spots set up camp and got equipment set up bait made at 7:30 chummed and lines in at 8 as planned. Later to land my first small mouth buff for a first pb of 5.15 not a big 1 but hey gotta start some where.lol later catching a few more buffs and the about 12:30 landed a 2nd pb buff of 6.1. Then landed a common of 12.15 which was the biggest common id catch through the weekend,as I caught only 4 commons,the rest was all buffs. Finally slowed up a little and layed down to have my alarm beping then a small scream @ 4:45 sat morning to land my 3rd pb buff @ 8.2. Then it went quit again until about 7:15 to another beep and another scream to land yet another buff pb of 10.2.. was very exciting to be landing so many nice fish and breaking my pb's 3 times after the first caught. :) caught another smaller 1 then to have my alarm to scream and landed my newest pb of 20.14 @ 2:10pm. So from 8pm fri to 2:10 sat I had caugh 4 new pb's and a total of 8 fish all buff minus the 1 common. Then from 2:10 sat to Sunday at 3pm I landed 14 more fish which 3 were common (6.15 to 8.12) and rest buffs ranging from 3.7 to 9.10. No more new pb but I did lose to big ones that I never saw but 1 got in to a snag and lost it. & the other ran & ran fighting him in to have hom run and run again and again. Wow the blood was flowing as im wanted to see this fish... finally working the drag and having it almost tight and having it still pulling line the hook finally pulled out and he was gone. I was soooo disapointed and so wasn't the 4 other that was there watching the fight,as we all really wanted to see this fish so really bad. Guess u win some and lose some.. that was the most exciting part of the whole weekend even more then catching my 20.lol as im sure that fish was wayyyy bigger @ least it felt and acted bigger anyways. There was many little pop up t-storms that keep poping up just to make it miserable at times. At 3 just as we got ready to start tearing down another friend stopped in and we stayed fishing catching a few more that we didn't record as it was over. But still a fun time catching fish. Finally time to pack up camp just in time for a storm to move in and start down pooring on us. Needless to say most everything got wet besides a few things that make it in the car before it started and by the time it was pack I was soaked from head to top top rubber boots. Leaving to a 2 hrs drive dripping wet and a long ride home. So when making it home being tired with not much sleep i took a hot shower,in some dry clothes and went to bed... so besides all the rain all in all it was a great weekend with breaking my buff PB 4 times... so it was a awesome weekend for sure actually its been a awesome month for me as landed and broke like 4 or 5 new pbs for common and 4 for buff..hopefully the rest of the year goes like this as im loving it... :):):)... im thinking its gonna be a gd fishing year this yr as the first part has been awesome. Now to target bigger fish and to also get a PB & first grassie and tryi to find me a koi as as well so cross that off my list and a pb on that,as well...and work on getting a bigger pb for my mirrir as well. :) andyways that's my weekend story as it sure was a exciting one...had a great time... :):):)...... below is a pic of my new Buff PB. 20.14....

    Really smashed my pb once again earlier around 2pm I landed a 20.14 buff.. from my 10.2. So that makes 5 times broken this weekend. & still tonight and until 3 tomorrow and seems like our area maybe be a nite bite as we had more activity last nite so just woke up from a little nap as it maybe a long one tonight if it was like last night... so anything can happen...

    Well caught a new PB buff since last nights post and is the 3rd pb broken since the original PB the newest weighs out at 10.2 broke my orginal with a 6.1, then a 8.2 and now my 10.2. :) along with caught a nice 12.15 common as well... caught my 8.2 at 4:45 this morning & my new PB at 7:15 this morning... so far there has been more buff caught then commons... having a blast & a good weekend.. actually had a good month. Smashed 4 common PB's & 3 buff's so far.so yeah this month has been unreal for me & been a really great season so far... keep ya all informed on any others. :) pic is my newest PB Buff... 10.2.

    Oh yeah u will im just lucky to be in a place where there is common,buffs,grass carp & maybe a mirror. Its a private lake so I don't know if its fished alot for carp or not. They been very very active in our area all nite so far... caught another new PB buff 6.1 and a 12.5 common as well and had a few bumps and lost 1 to a snag & had to break my line.. :( so yeah gd nite so far got a new pb and then beat that pb. :)
