Thank you all for the quick reply. I know there is no rod can do all. but if the rod can handle 1/2 OZ well, I will not consider by extra rod in the near future.

I'd like to start carp fishing,have zero knowledge about it.

for me it's a big rod. so I have a question for the real rod owner,Can it really handle the 1/2 OZ?

How many yards can you cast with 1/2 OZ?
