I hate cats too, unless they are over 15 lb. The biggest one I have ever caught while carp fishing was 32 lb. it was a blue cat and I caught it on

2 - 16mm boilies on a hair rig , # 4 Kamason hook.

Most the of the time we count catfish as negative numbers, catch a cat and you go one in the hole, this means you have to catch 2 carp to get back out of the hole .............Todd

I fished in the Santee Cooper Lakes last week and didi pretty good.

I caught 12 grass carp from 20 lb. to 40 lb. and I caught 3 common carp from 24 lb. to 29 lb.

You have to fish from a boat in most parts of the lake because of the gators and swampy conditions, we did how ever find a little island that had a nice sandy beach to fish from.

I have a new in the box Scientific Anglers fly reel for sale along with a new i.t.b extra spool.

The reel is a model 89 and it will hold a 8 or 9 wt. line with 300 yards of 20 lb. backing. the reel has a large disk drag system that is very smooth.

I paid 180.00 dollars for the reel and 80.00 for the extra spool.
