Using an artificial piece of corn at the end (or even just cutting a corn-shape out of yellow craft foam, and putting that on the end of your stack should help keep the corn on better.

Wow, with Dean's latest uploads to the leaderboard, he's really starting to run away with it! Any chance we can see the full sized pics Dean? Those are some great looking fish

Fantastic video! I too find carp videos to be pretty boring, especially ones over 3-5 minutes, but that was great! Filming style, fish, all of it! Watched the whole thing in one sitting.

Via a Google search...
In addition, its blood has a much higher affinity for oxygen than any other vertebrate, and it makes tranquilizers and produces alcohol when oxygen supplies are limited.
("It" being a carp, of course)
From everything else I've read, seems as if they can keep the oxygen in their bloodstreams for longer, so when they are out of the water, they are fine until all that oxygen runs out - a lot longer than other fish.

Congrats!

Wow Olivier those are some massive fish!! Absolutely incredible!

Fly fishing for them is the best. But lately it's been cutting into my carp time

Yup, it was a good change this year. A lot of people were killing trophy fish just for the pin. I got my scale certified too, after a long struggle, so I occasionally submit fish for the catch and keep section, but these fish were released.

Those are super cool Jeff! Thanks for all the steps ti make one. Maybe I'll try to make one over the winter...

Great fish Jeff and welcome!
Haha, thank you. I made the mat myself, it is 50" long and has 4" of padding. I'm on the hunt for a cradle now, my mat gets slippery and I fish alone a lot so I need to find a better way to secure the fish while I run to trigger the self timer on the camera.
And how did you make the mat (like material) if you don't mind. It looks awesome.

Great fish!

Me too!...I finally finished painting the house exterior...this event Sunday then down to Bville on Wednesday for the Ed French open...then, if it all goes to plan I might be going after a few salmon..
That's awesome Mark! If you go for those salmon, I'd love to see some pics... Salmon River? I've always wanted to go there for the run

Unfortunately I ran out of time and couldn't make it up. How'd you guys do? Any pictures?

Very nice Jerome!

Nice fish! Is it hard to cast a breadball on a baitcaster? I guess it may vary depending on how big you make your breadballs, but I can't seem to get much distance with anything weighing less than, say, half an ounce.

Well done everyone. I'd love to get out to this event and other fish-ins but they seem to be held on Sunday's which unfortunately happen to be a work day for me. Hopefully, an event on a Saturday will see me attending
Well... there will be one in southern NH this upcoming Saturday!

If I remember correctly, in the spring, there was some sort of code (string of random numbers and letters) that had to be written on the logo? Is that needed again this time?
Edit: I just looked back and it was the invoice number
