[Renewing Canadian membership]

I am trying to renew my membership. I let my membership expire for over a year ago, I had no time to fish, but I'm ready to get back into it. 

I've followed the links but I see expired and no link to get me to payment.

I tried to start a new membership but I am stopped because I have already bought one.

I'm not sure if this is a just problem with the Canadian links.

Please advise how I can renew.

[First carp outing, semi-success]

Hi guys

Mike from Oshawa.

I got interested in carp fishing in December, found the CAG while doing research on baits and tackle, it's a great source of info.

I've been waiting to get a chance to try out the gear, keeping an eye on the harbours .

Ice is out in Whitby so I figured it was worth a try.

I baited up the area and soaked a line for a couple of hours, no signs of fish. I figured I had my first skunk.

I put my net and gear away and went to pull in my line.

Half way back I had some resistance, I figured i was snagged, then my snag started moving away, fish on !

One of the guys fishing for pike ran down with his net and helped me land this guy.

Who would have guessed pike like mussel flavoured corn.
