[mirror carp]

I am new to carp fishing and was just wondering how rare are mirrors .in the last 2. Months me and my son have caught 5. With 4 coming in the last week.some places I fish u can't buy one .I'm in ohio trying to put in picks but not working.

Does anyone have issues with missing bites on hair rigs and boilies.i bet iv only hooked up 2 out of 50 times in the last two weeks using a hair rig.cant figure it out.im having less problems hooking bait straight to the hook.
