I've lurked on this site over the years but finally joined. I've been fly fishing for carp for at least 10 years and it's still great fun!
I'm lucky enough that I live by a wadeable river, so I'm able to chase then down in the shallows. A good size carp with a river current definitely makes for a good fight!
I use a 9', 7 wt on the river and a 9', 5 wt for the local ponds
I'm looking forward to sharing tips & info with everyone!
