Well for spring break Brendan and I made a trip down to Tennessee to fish the famous Dale Hollow Lake! I will keep this just a short summary of the trip as I will have a write up on Big Carp News about the trip. We arrived at the spot Sunday evening and set up on a spot called the point, we would be staying til Saturday morning. There were a few anglers to our left and we stopped down and talked to them before setting up. Their names were Douglas Reed and Marco Koning, they were both some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of sharing the bank with! Even though we had our own food they insisted on cooking breakfast and dinner for us for the week and man was it good! We had a lot of fun joking around and sharing stories over the week, including watching them bank some incredible fish! The fishing started out kind of slow but we did start to catch from the first night! Over the course of the 6 days that we were there Brendan and I hooked around 40 fish but only landed 25 because we were fishing snags and lost many due to the snags, including a few big fish. We both broke our personal best mirrors by quite a bit! Brendans new PB mirror is at 25lb even which beats his old one by 4lbs! My new PB mirror is now 32lb 8oz which beats my old one by 16lbs! Overall we had an absolute blast on this beautiful lake! Kind of picture heavy!
