  1. After another month of computer issues, editing s/w updates, corrupted templates, I was FINALLY able to get another episode edited and released. So, it's time to sit back, grab an extra HUGE mug of java and watch the show. https://youtu.be/nv1CQwVaGnI An overnight session at Chatfield Reservoir resulted in many common and mirror carp for me, including a great mid 20s mirror just after midnight. James caught consistently throughout the night with some good fish banked. Hope you Enjoy! John CarpQuest
  2. Though it may feel like winter, the carp gods giveth with some sunny footage of a couple of sessions, filmed this fall, with my next door neighbor, Roland. He is always fun to be out on the bank with and really doesn't care if he catches a fish or not. It's all about the company, the conversation, a couple of German beers and being outdoors in beautiful Colorado! Hope you enjoy! Tight-Lines, John
  3. In this weeks episode of CarpQuest, Ron and I are again fishing at Chatfield Reservoir, Kingfisher. We tried a new location at the venue, but after a morning without any signs of carp, we moved back to the usual spot. Ron banked a couple of nice commons and a big crayfish. I finally manage to land one, at the end of session, to avoid the blank. The crayfish at Kingfisher have been insane in numbers this year, and size - a likely boost in their population due to the flooding experienced here earlier in the year. Hope you Enjoy! John
  4. We are officially up and running for CarpQuest Season 3. After many blank sessions this year, in the snow, ice, wind and sleet at Chatfield Reservoir, we finally got a couple of carp in the net, on the cradle and on film. Victory Coffee was consumed ! Hope you Enjoy ! Tight-Lines, John
