[We Hauled At Rock River July 1]

Carolyn and I got sick of working around the house so we got up early and drove the nine blocks to the rock river. We chummed at 6am them set down to take it slow and easy. Yeah right!!! my buzzer went off as the carp took the tiger nut. Carolyn grabbed the net and landed the six pound carp. I had no sooner recast when the buzzer went off again, the action went on for hours.

So much for getting any rest from work at the house. Then the buffalo moved in and the action continued till we got tired of catching fish. One time while netting one of my carp she fell in the river!! It was a slow roll into the water. I didn't get a photo of that we started picking up our gear and reeling in our rods and there was a sunfish on Carolyn's big hook.

While no fishing license is required at the CCC it will be needed to fish any other area, along with a Moss Lake fishing permitt to fish the campground.

Also......... There are some very big buffs 50lb+ in the paylake. These buffs, should you catch one, will count towards the half hour payouts but not for the Carp King title.

This is a picture of the wild water venue that will be available at a local lake a few miles away from the CCC location. The place belongs to me and is a cmp ground for full hookup campers. although the camp ground is full the lake front will be open for all to use that find the paylake not quite their cup of tea.
