  1. Just to show how the Dorado loose their color , this is a picture of my other fish a couple of hours after

capture, it looks bland with almost no color left. This S.O.B. was put in a six foot cooler which had a heavy wooden lid, I had to stand ontop of the lid because the fish was thrashing around so much the lid was flying off. Next time I will have to give it a good wack in the head so I can take a quicker picture.

  2. I finaly got a chance to catch a fish that I have seen caught many times on TV exotic fishing adventures.

This picture is the smaller of two Dorado I caught last week in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).

Conditions were rough with 6-8 foot swells making trolling diffucult but our boat managed to land eight Dorado between four of us. We were hoping one of us would hook into a marlin but it didn't happen but we were happy with the Dorado. These fish fight hard and still put up a fight in the boat, the colors are amazing, unfortunatly I couldn't take any pictures immediatly after a caputure to show off their full color as they were too uncontrolabe to hold after landing and they lose there color quickly out of the water. Can't wait to do it again.

  3. Its painted ya big dumb moron. Its wood. Go back to laying around and not looking for a job.  :D

    KEEPNET ...

Awesome pc of work there. I admired that pc many am whilst eating "Big English" breakfasts at the Riverview hotal ... Congrats on that you lucky bastid!!  :D

Cheers Rob, I was supposed to get the slate from the Riverview Motel but it got damaged before they could sent it to me, Pete Henwood sent me it's sister piece that he had on display in his tackle shop in England ( only two were ever made)

  4. Here is my latest piece, the carp slate for winning this years CAGI.This is made from a piece of slate 36" x 20". it weighs 55lbs and the mirror carp and weed have been carved into the slate and finaly painted. This slate was made by an English artist and apparently took over 100 hours to complete. Generously donated to the tournament by Pete Henwood of "Specialist Tackle".

  5. This wood art piece was made for me by an artist friend, I asked him to copy a picture of a painting that I saw in a carp magazine. The wood board is 18" x 13" and the carp and liley pads are burnt into the wood. The picture does not do it justice.
