  1. The red corn I can get is bigger than the yellow corn, swells up and opens very nicely and has a much stronger nutty smell. Stand alone it may not make a difference but fished next to regular corn I would like to think it does. Question is how much you end up paying for it in the US compared to regular corn? Here the red stuff is more expensive but the difference is minor.

The blue corn really looks like snails by the way.

  2. How right you are! But I see more US trips coming up in the future; the current safety situation in Mexico is still really bad, maybe worse than ever, and some of my high potential lakes are not safe at the moment. Would be really nice to explore one new US venue each year.

    - I think I will have to take Matt up on his offer one day: how many times did that fish come out already now? Three times?

    - Would love to fish with you Possum, even if it's just because of that reincarnation issue.

    - A big river sounds nice too. No such thing in Mexico, and I sometimes really miss the Maas River back home.

    - Big buff in winter? Sounds awesome

    - Just meet as many CAG'ers as possible. Where to start?

    - etc. etc. Too many fun things to do, too little time.

  3. Most appreciated guys! I'll be somewhere up North. Thing is I'm going to be doing something different this time. Massive boilie campaign (and I mean massive) in a spot that is not mine to share. Fishing next to someone who knows a thing or two about winning competitions with pack. So not exactly a social event this time. But let's do a big social fishin next time, somewhere central? I could try one fishing trip per year in the US.
